Exactly, from the picture you used 3w-5-2 v style, he used 4-3n-1-2. You should have used 3n because you had only 1 DC to cover 2 STs. His STs got great ratings, which meant they are the ones that cost you the match. If you plan on using 3w again, consider using full pitch pressing to reduce the amount of time on the ball for his strikers

what about a 442 i read many comments saying 451v but it doesnt work sometimes

Well i use 4-5-1 v style against 4-4-2 classic, but 4-4-2 classic is very flexible so it is hard to anticipate the other managers orders
