How to beat 4-1-3N-2 formation (quality difference 8.0)

Hey guys, I have a cup match tonight against a stronger oponnent
He is using the formation 4-1-3N-2 (DL DC DC DR - DMC - MC MC MC - ST ST)
His quality is 33.0, mine is 25.0
Which formation could give me the best chance to get me the best result out of this fixture?
    Thank you

The V gives me good success against this MC heavyweight.
The AM's tend to tie up his DMC which leaves the MC pretty even.
He has no flank attack only his DR/DL which again your AM's block.
Your DR/DL have the freedom to attack down the flanks bringing into play your own AMR/AML.
Played with the standard orders or defensive with force counter, up arrows can be added to the flank players if needed but the DR/DL only as a last resort and if so put down arrows on the DC's.

I followed your advice but I lost 1:4 at home. But nevermind, it's not a surprise. Thank you once more, as I'll be focusing on League and Champions league now

    Shocked by that result.
I'd still use it, game engine throwing a sulk is more probable than the system not working.
In the bible I believe they called such results a 'miracle'.

I'm facing a team using same formation in cup too, he is +12 quality difference (Me 27 him 39), so I don't want to use 4-5-1V if you did. I've tried that formation against 4-1-3-2 in the past and not done very well (drawn). I've been told that 4-3-2-1 is better - the only difference is an extra MC instead of DMC.

    Anyone got any better ideas?

4-3-2-1 is how I do it and I'm unbeaten using it against the 4-1-3N-2

I have to confirm this, also unbeaten (played already 10 times against it) with 4-3-2W-1 and attacking mentality

4-3-2-1 does not work well for me against the 4-1-3N-2. Against weeker team I had only 0:1 and 0:0 in two Ch L mathches. I had possession 60-70%, but I had less shots on goal! Something is wrong with formation, or mentality, or arrows, i don't know.

Same time I can gladly confirm that against 3-4-3 the best solution is 3-2-2-2-1 Butterfly. I had 3 games within 3 days against 3 different teams and won 4:0 in all three mathches, having possession 60-70% and 12-15 more shots on goal.

This is an old thread you know lol...

Against 4-1-3N-2, the 4-3N-2-1 does work. Play attacking tactics because it's an attacking formation, arrows only on AML/AMR

Just finished the game and not satisfied again. Played 4-3N-2-1 against 4-1-3N-2. Won 0:2 against weaker team. Had 69% possession. And he had more shots total and on target than me! Again. My GK was MoM.

I changed only couple of things after previous disasters. I put hard tackling, long passes to the left only (stronger AML and CM). Seems it helped a bit. But I have 3 yellow cards. And my Striker had 85% condition after the game, while my DL had only 66% (started equal). Means that my ST was blocked away completely from the game! No wonder that my opponent had more shots on target.

SO, my question is: if I play 4-3N-2-1 against 4-1-3N-2, what are the best orders for other people? Attacking, down both wings and long? Shall I put red arrows on the Striker?

And there is another nightmare for me. Tomorrow I play against 4-2-2-2 Hex. General advise is to play 4-5-1V. But it does not work for me. Something wrong with my orders too. What shall I play? Attacking, down both wings, mixed and red on AML/AMR? Or defending, down both wings, long and red on AML/AMR?
