I need tips on formation and tactic for the next season

Hello, im Sindre. I am wondering if you could give me some tips on what players I should change out and what formation I should use. I am currently using the 5-3-2 formation, and I am a level 3 player moving up to level 4. My budget is 17 mill. So here's my players:

1 5-star GK, 1v1 Specialist
1 3-star GK, 1v1 Specialist
1 6-star DC, DL, Head Specialist
1 6-star DC
1 5-star DC
1 3-star DC, DL
1 4-star DC, Penalty Specialist
1 5-star DC, DL, DMC, Penalty Specialist
1 4-star DC, DR
1 6-star DC, DR, Defensive Wall
1 5-star DC, DR, Defensive Wall
1 7-star MC, Corner Specialist
1 6-star MC, Playmaker
1 6-star MC
1 4-star MC, Free-kick Specialist
1 4-star MC, Dribbler
1 4-star MC, Corner Specialist
2 4-star ST
1 5-star ST
1 6-Star ST, 1v1 Specialist

With that squad few options only... 4-3N-3, 5-3N-2, 4-1-3N-2, 4-1-2-3, 5-1-2-2, 5-1-3N-1 or 3W-1-3N-3... but it depends of your players' form, not your wishes lol... You don't have any winger or side midfielder to play 3N in the back line...

But Who should I change out, and what positions should the new player have?

Can't say whom to sell tho, don't know how your players were performing in this season... You will need at least one side midfielder or winger for each side, so you could play almost any formation... looking at the stars, you strongest starting eleven is in 5-3-2 formation, but if any of them is playing bad, then give them some chance in the next season... and if they continue to play bad, then sell them...

My top scorers in the league are the 7-star, the 6-star ST and the 5 star ST, the 7-star with 26, 6-star with 37 goals, and the 5-star with 21 goals.

I didn't mean goals, but average ratings...

Well.. Most of them have average of 7-8. But I think that I should sell the 3 star ones.

Does anyone have any tips on what positions the new players That I buy next season should be Able to play?

Wide mildfielders, DM, AM...

Maybe I should buy ML,MR too?

My suggesstion:
Sell 3* DC/DL and 4* DC penalty specialist, buy 1 DC-DMC instead. Sell 4* MC dribbler, 3* GK and worst ST
Buy AML/R/C, ML/R, maybe 1 ST...

And to add something: sell before end of season because your player's will loose value after promotion. You need at least 15 players before new season start's, but there shouldn't be problems. Btw. if you find cheap 5* MC, you can also sell other 3* MC.
I usually have (on lower levels) 4* as reserves and 5*+ for 1st squad.

For me 4-4-2ND works like a charm, the best part of this formation is that it alone is one of the best formations on the game, also it can easily be switched to 4-5-1V, that is another of the best formations of the game. I start with 4-4-2ND and depending on the matchup, I switch to 4-5-1V. what you need is. 1GK, 2DC, 1DR, 1DL, 1DMC, 2MC, 1AMC/AML/AML, 2ST. To make the switch for 4-5-1V you need to change on ST with 1AML/AMR (depending what you have on the player on the AMC spot. My mentality is attacking/hard attacking, but if you score a couple of goals, you can make the switch to 4-5-1V and play it Hard Defending. As for orders on the 4-4-2, my mentality is attacking, passing mixed, presure on your own half, if you are ahead by 2 goals you can play 4-5-1V with hard defending, mixed passing, own half presure, short passes, counter attack. I won last league 24-0-0 with that system and my first CUP match vs a level 7 (I am level 5) 2-2 and 0-1. He was playing 3-1-3-1-3, leaving his flanks wide open, so I started with 4-5-1V. I didn't even was there to get the extra possetion and still emerged victorious! 4-4-2ND and 4-5-1 are the best formations on the game for me, they are easy to get players for them since they share the majority of possitions and they are really strong as they have not many counter formations.
