4-3N-1-2 and ND couldn't be counter by V?

For the past season or so, I have been using 3N-5-2V against 4-3N-1-2 and ND, and had won every single match back then.

Somehow this season, I've gone through the list of preliminary and qualifying round results, and found that there we 7 games that had used 3N-5-2V against the ND or 4-3N-1-2 (myself included), and all had lost.

Any advice against 4-3N-1-2 or 4-1-2-1-2ND? Thanks.

P/s: I've been using Normal, Mixed passing, Own Half, Hard tackling, Zonal Marking, Offside Trap On. This seem ti work in the past season.

you can use 4-3n-2W-1 (normal, flanks, own half, normal tackling, zonal, no counters and offside trap), for both. Make sure your morale team are superb

Lost the first Cup game 2:0 at a home game using 3-5-2V vs 4-3N-1-2 (was too tired I overslept <10 minutes towards the start of the match). Opponent was present.
Was lucky the second round. Opponent wasn't online, and out of no-where I had 3 Supporters!! (average being 0 supporters albeit having about 50 TE friends). I used 4-1-4-1 (Attacking, Mixed, Own Half, Hard, Zonal, Mixed Passing) and won his 4-3N-1-2 by 2:0. We went into overtime, and later I manage to dominate him over Penalties.

Conclusion: 4-1-4-1 beats 4-3N-1-2. And support your friend's matches, means a lot to them.

I've also been having some difficulty with 4-5-1V against the Narrow Diamond this season, and it must be trendy because almost everyone is playing ND in my league/CL/Cup draws.

The last three games I've tried something different: 3N-DMC-3N-2W-1, man marking. My X in the back is sitting on his X of attackers. I arrow forward my central MC and the two AMCs, but stay neutral on attack/defend mentality.

Against roughly equal teams, I've pulled two away scoreless draws and an away 2-1 win. Hooray for dull football! Small sample size, certainly, but I'm going to keep it up and hope for the best.

Yeah, i'm kinda in favor of V-style play... But, since you all noticed, it came to my attention too :D

first league match I played against 20 points weaker opponent playing narrow diamond.
It wasn't my best team playing the 3-5-2V, but still he had more chances than me to score a goal.
It was away match for me so the stats were 16:21(8:6 on goal shots)... and the final score was 1:3 for me, but still, it should have been much higher since I had 72% possesion and a much better team playing counter tactics.
I thought that 3 dc could stop his 1 star sts, but i was wrong :D

My conclusion, 4-5-1V works much better if opponent have 2 strikers. I won much more games playing 4-5-1 with normal or attacking mentality than 3-5-2... it's just mind boggling how can more cautious formation be more productive against that much weaker opponents... o.O
