4-2(DCM)-1-3 counter tips please?

hi guys, kinda new here, still lvl 2, have a match against a 4213 team.

the other team's more or less the same rating, maybe a bit stronger. any formations and tips appretiated :D

any advice on this formation guys?

i'm guessing 3ATB would be fine to deal with it....

Observations:
- You need at least 2DC against his 3 ST. I recommen 3N or 4 defenders.
- He has no wing midfielders, but concentrates on the center.
- His system is similar to 4-3N-3, but the two MC are switched back to DMC. So he blocks the center.

How to play:
- Block the center, attack over the flanks.

Possible formation(s) with orders:
- I don't know your roster, quality and playstyle. But ...
- 3-5-2 flat or 4-2N-2W-2 (red arrows on DL,DR) could work.
- Orders: Passing down both flanks and short passing. Normal mentality, if you both have about the same quality. Own half pressing without offside trap, normal tackling, no counter attacks, zonal marking.

The tactics tip is quite conservative (not too risky) with potential to react during the match. I hope the hints help or guide you to even better ideas.

Like Chris said.. he has no wing so u could exploit it...and for sure he plays counter attack you...
U can also try hexagon 4-2-2-2 .. 4-2MCs-AMR/AMR-2STs
Normal/down both flanks/short passing/hard tackle/no offside/no counter/ (optional red arrows on AML/AMR..in case u gain enough possession then don't need red arrows)

went 1-0 up in the 1st half! :D

the match ended at that score! :/
