Weird 4-1-2N-2N (2AMC)-1 Counter

I played against this team (Cup Semifinal). I was trying to counter, but I didn't have any idea what to do. At the end i used a weird formation to cover his players (3DC-2DMF-2MC-AML/AMR-ST), and while the result was kinda good (2-2 away... 2 goals away wasn't that bad).... I feel i was lucky, he had like 12 corners, 10 shots more... I was watching live, and I felt I was going to lose by 5 goals lol.

Last 20-30 min I changed to a 4-5-1 V and I felt the game was more "ballanced".

I have to play home now. Do you have any tips? Should I play 4-5-1? Or use the weird thing again lol. I don't have DMR or a decent MR, maybe I should buy a cheap one :P, and try mapple leaf or something like that.

why not try with 5-2N-2W-1 or 3-2W-2-2-1 Butterfly? so you can attack on wings but idk if that works but normally it shoudl because he only has one player on the wings

Should I focusing on counter him, losing some Q, or should I put the best players I have, even if my formation doesnt't counter his.

Won 2-0 with a 3-1-4-2, red arrows on MR/ML, and blue on MCs. My MCs seemed to block any long shot from his AMCs lol.

I switched to 4-5-1 V (defensive), after I got the 2 goals lead.

It was like the final match for me, the other leg have crap teams, all the strong ones were in my way -_-.
