How to beat 4-1-1-2-2

Happy New Year to everybody, can someone give some advise to play against the first place of the league?

I play in around 3 hours...

His team is slightly lower than mine 106.6 vs 104.6

On the first game he smashed me 5-1 (I couldn't see the game either), and Needless to say, I want to win!

Here some pics to help see comparison.., my usual formation is 4-5-1 V style motivated..., but with that formation I was slughtered on the first game...

Please give me your recommendation on formation and directions...

I've thought on using maybe classic 4-4-2, what do you think??
