i'm playing against a 4-1(dmc)-2N-3 and i saw in the sticky post of counter formations that i should use 4-1-4-1.
I have my team in 4-5-1 V style, and my wingers can be ML and MR, so i can do a 4-1-4-1. Our teams are very much alike in quality. He has one player with 6*, nine players with 5*, one player with 4* and one player with 3*, has do i.
My question his, should i change from 4-5-1V to 4-1-4-1? And if so, what orders do i give?
Someone?
Question is, do you play it safe and start with 4-1-4-1 then change to 4-5-1v if things go bad, or do you go for the result then shut up shop with a comfortable lead?
The thing is that most probably i wont be watching the game :\

Try 4-1-4-1 with red arrows on your wingers, attack the flanks. Best of luck.
What about mentality? Should i play on deffensive with counter attacks? Or do i play on the attack?
His middlefield is very weak, with a 5* and a 3*.
And i'm worried about his 3 strikers :\ Should i put blue arrow on the DMC and DC's?
I would go with normal mentality (especially as you wont be able to attend)
Blue arrow on DMC to provide defensive duties, red arrows on ML and MR, no offside, no counter, down both flanks, mixed passing, own half, normal tackling, Zonal marking.
Not being live makes it much harder.
