How to beat 4-1-3w-1-1

Hello folks, can you give me your thoughts on this formation?, according to one of the quick guides the counter of 4-1-3w-1-1 is 5-1(DMC)-2-2,

My usual formation is 4-5-1 V style motivated, and I'm not sure about playing 5-1-2-2, as I'd give away advantage on the wings, as my opponent is playin with an MR and an MI, what do you think?

If I play 4-5-1 I'd have the same number of midfielders than my opponent, otherwise, my game would be very defensive, and I'm playing as visitor....

Thanks, but the game ended already, tied 2-2 using 4-5-1, next time I face that formation I will use your counter.

According to counter formations 442 is good against it, but I think it is actually reverse.
Yesterday I played in cup against weaker oppo, mine starting formation was 423w1, his 413w11. After he had scored for 1-0, I changed formation to 442 but it wasn't successful. Moreover, I don't think that 442 is better than any version of 451. Now I need to win with at least 1 GD in todays match. I have no idea which formation to use, constantly thinking about good counter, but don't know what to use. I can't remember last time when faced 413w11, I lack experience against it.
