    How to counter 4-1-2N-2N-1 ?

4-5-1 V didn't work. Our teams are equal.

How did you play the 4-5-1v? I would have put my DC's and MC's with blue arrows and the wingers at D and AM with red arrows, played the flanks, normal/counter attack on the road, attacking offsides at home, half pitch/hard tackling on the road, whole pitch/hard tackling at home, and mixed passing. I think you have the right formation for success. Could you tell if your opponent had instructions that you could take advantage of? Counter attacking or aggressively pushing forward? That's the kind of thing I'd be looking to exploit.
