Are you going to use that against a 4-4-2? If yes, the use of a CDM is probably a waste unless the opposing strikers have much better quality than your defenders.

The CDM will probably be useless. Use a 4-3-3 or a 4-3-1-2. It is better for you to have 4 at the back because the opponent may put red arrows on his MR and ML players.
