Hi Guys,

What do you think about this formation? Sometimes I pull my defense player together in the middle as 3 DCn, if I see he plans to come trough the middle. Quite a lot of time, I play offensive...

Can somebody tell me which formation would be dangerous against mine? How you would try to beat me?

I play usually 4-5-1V defense/counters and maybe that I would use, but if you 're not watching the game, I could play a 4-4-2 ND (4-1-2-1-2) from the middle because I could counter your lack of players in the middle.
If you 're watching the game, in that case you must "close" your defense, setting 3DC.

you should never Play through the middle!! mixed will be better! i wouldn´t set a red arrow on central mc. he should Play without any arrow. in your squad i wouldn´t use any arrow.

But Niko, I have in the middle quite much player. I don't get it what you mean? 😉 I just know from my experience that my weaknesses are counter and long passes...

Minz90 why never through the middle?! I try all other options and I must say through the middle is the most successful way.

Anyway, if my opponents make a goal first, I can pushing as much as I want, my team has much trouble to shoot a goal in return, even if I have over 70%

with 4-4-2 narrow diamond I have
DL & DC vs your ML & MR > equal
2DC + 1DMC vs your 2ST + 1AMC > equal
2MC vs your 1MC
2ST + 1AMC vs your 1DC + 1DMC
those last two can give me an advantage so you must "close" your defense. Then I 'll have 2ST+1AMC vs 3DC +1DMC

if I 'm playing from the middle, your DL & DR will be away from the action.
Of course can help, if you,re playing zone but not much as 3DC + 1DMC.

Okay. And may I ask what kind of advantage I would get if I play long passes and not short or when should I use it?

For example the opponent is quite defense. Let's say a
4-5-1 flat formation. Is it there smarter to play long, mixed and my defense in wide as usual?

The logic of the game saying (as many other member have written) that if oppo playing without DMs (so there is a distance between the two lines, M&D) and you 're playing defense or normal, long pass and counter attacks can help. If oppo has DM, then go mix.
Personally, I like to use defense or normal with counter attacks and I can see somehow that helped me many times.
About the pass, I couldn't see any differens to be honest. The same with offside.
Maybe it's one of those things of the game that give a +1% or +2%.
Sometimes it's critical and many times it's devoured by the roll dice of the game
