Another weird formation
Hello! Once again I meet a asimetrical formation (I hate them ):
----- ST - ST - ST -----
--------- AMC --------
----MC - MC - MC ----
------------------------
-DL - DC ----- DC -----
----------- GK ----------
How you guys should counter this team?
-
Could you send through a screenshot of his and your team?
-
I am playing from Android, so it does not fit entire page on screen....
Above is his team. Beeing the 2-nd Cup match, in previous I've tryed 4-1-3w-2, but the result was catastrophic (0:4).
He has better value than my team (97.6 vs 96.4).

You can try go for 4-1-4-1 down the flanks. Its going to be difficult to recover from 4 goals but its worth a try. Go with normal mentality, mixed passing. Counter on, red arrows on ML/R...
Goodluck bro

Hope and trying is all that is left for all of us ! :)
Thanks! I'll let you know how it works!

If by halftime you feel that formation is not working, go for 3-5-2v....

Game Over ! :)
I win (3:2), but (of course!) not enough... Started 4-1-4-1 and after first half (2:1) I've increased pressure and move to 3-5-2 v-style.

But a win is a win!
Thanks a lot bro !

right, but 4-1-4-1 is to Play with mixed Focus, because there is no aml/r. it s an Option to Play the flanks, but i would only do it, when i feel that it is needed.

I'm just a newb, but being down by 4 aggregate, shouldn't he have pulled out all the stops and gone for goals? Use some kind of offensive formation and pressed hard for scoring? I think of a 4-1-4-1 as a formation to use when you want to slow DOWN scoring. It's the formation I'd have used as his opponent maybe. With a four goal lead, dare him to score enough... Am I wrong?
3N-4-1-2 or I recently had to use a 3N-4-2(AMCs)-1 to get back in a game when I was down 2... I won 3-2.
