there is no counter for 4-4-2
Play with 4 defenders DR-DC-DC-DL and whatever your players are performing better.

Yeah there is. Have equal quality and play through the middle.

Arams orders are fine.

Mirror 4-4-2 or 4-2-2-2 if stronger and attack thats the best option for me you can get surprised by 4-4-2 sometimes it's impossible to beat.

have u ever try 4-1-2MCs-3...It sometimes works well against 4-4-2C...
4-4-2C is the most balance formation...

well, I disagree.
when I set two ST playing from the middle, they get a 7 and no goal.
This period, only my wingers performing good.
That's what I'm saying. If you have 2 ST + 1 AMC who are performing good, ok.
If not, then the counter formation won't work.

I understand. A manager in my League has a ML/DML who is an assist machine so it gave me trouble. I had to sub a DMC to CM to strengthen the centre. In terms of giving people a fighting chance, the diamond is a direct counter.

The result finished 2-2 thanks to his left mid. His team was on form too so probably a fair result at the time.
