There is no advantage tactic over other to win all matches in the league since it varies depends on your opponent strength and weakness points
For me I prefer to play 4-1-2-1-2 when your opponent has a strong defense and 4-3-3 for weaker opponents
In the end it all comes out from the original plan which is 4-4-2 :)

Just as said above, there is no formation that juts out over all, but the 4-1-2-1-2 Narrow Diamond has a higher rate of wins in the leagues in four leagues I played, the team coach did not change it no time, and always ended up in 4th place 5th at least. Good luck!
Untill now 4-3-3 is better.
The diamond by a mile. Number one, AMs can beat the offside trap. And number two, we all know how STs are performing.
I played 4-3-3 and won all matches.
