Hey
I played today in league vs 4-5-1 I had 80% ball possession and still 2-2 final score :P
I used this 3-3-1-3 tactic : Screenshot by Lightshot with agressive , short in the middle , man to man and counterattack off .

Should I change to 4-3-1-3? I have players to this one , might work better?

4-4-2 is, by far, the best counter. I've lost to it 3 of 5 games. And mind you Atlético Kolkata is a team that always manages to win 16-19 games in a league.
I don't have players to do the 4-4-2 form :/

The 3-5-2 formation would meet the criteria I look for. 3 defenders for his 1 ST, equal number of midfielders, and 2 ST against his 4 defenders. With my personnel, I'd actually be going with a mapleleaf formation: 3W-2DMC-3W-1AMC-1.

Defensive, Mixed Passing, Low Press, Short Pass, Normal Tackling, Zonal, Counter On and Offside On (since he has no attacking midfielders)
But I like playing defensively
