I use low tackles.And low press.
Low tackles means player will tackle only when necessary. It does not means soft tackles lol.
Low press is best for keeping possession and counter attacks with defensive mentality.

How about the arrows?
It seems that you put a blue arrow on each DMC, and the opponent chose the wrong orders (including passing through the middle).
