I think you should use defensive counter long ball passing formation like 451v if you can.
Put blue arrows on your DL and Dr and maybe DMC also.
During live match, watch your players' ratings and your opponent's ratings after halftime
For examble: if your DMC was rating under 6.5, remove the arrow, if your amr/l were 6.8 put red arrows and so on.
Post your result here plz.
I hope you will win :)
Id use defensive, low press, long ball, mixed probably, counter on - if I was weaker. Go more attacking otherwise.
This tactic is becoming more and more trendy. I play 4-5-1V most of times and could not beat it in 4 games against (slightly) weaker teams. I would recommend 4 midfielders against this (and this I cannot do).
Your players are tired, they should be all around 90%+ at match time.
the match is like in 17 hours
At Start of the Saison, I faced this formation (opponent was slighty better). I mostly play 4-5-1V, but their it didn't work. Tactics were defending-long-mixed-on-low-normal-zonal-off.
Was down 0:2 at halftime, switched to 3-3 (MC)-2w-2, hard attacking, high press and won 5:2. But maybe it was big luck.
2nd leg (away) I used 4-2(DMC)-1-2w-1, hard defending-mixed-mixed-on-low-low-zonal-off.
It ends 1:1, but I conceeded the goal from dircet FK, overall he only had 3 shots on target, my team had 8 shots on target.
That's my experience with this formation.
