    How to beat 5-2-1-2

    Hi,
I am level 2 player and going to face level 8 player in cup match.

His players are far better than mine and he is using 5-2-1-2 formation

    ST-ST
    AMC
    MC-MC
    DL-DC-DC-DC-DR

    Anyone got any idea?

    I am planning to use

    ST
    AMC
    MC-MC-MC
    DMC
    DL-DC-DC-DR

    How do you guys think?

    Thank.

Check his last couple of games if you can, make sure this was the formation he used first off.
His players are much faster, he's playing on the break and through the middle, with his DR/DL with red arrows IMO.
Think you will have a tough time stopping him which ever system you adopt.

The big difference in quality makes it difficult for you to go MOM he'll skin you and also to press the whole pitch which you need to do against heavy defensive formations.

You could try kicking the **** out of him and hope you injure a few and only receive yellows but check his free kick specialist out first, if he has go normal. IMO go defensive and try and hit him on the break through his flanks as he has no MR/ML

The game engine may level things up a little but not 6 levels.

You could try this, gives you plenty of defensive cover and hard to play through you, also outnumbering his MF.
Put down arrows on all 6 defensive players, leave the attacks to the rest, if you can suck him in deep enough his MF will be all out of position including his DR/DL that should give you the a chance to get at him on the counter.

    ----------DC---DC---DC
    ----DMR------DMC-----DML
    AML/ML------------------AMR/MR
    ---------------AMC
    ----------------ST

Defensive, both flanks, own half, hard tackle/normal upto you, long passing, zonal, no O/S, force counter.

    Hi,
i played with your formation and lose with 1-0.

Tomorrow, I am gonna play at his stadium, for sure i cant play with defensive formation.

What advice can you give me?

How abt this formation, i have been practising with formation currently,

    ---------ST
    --AMC-AMC-AMC
    --DML---MC---DMR
    ---DC-DC-DC
