Nik, 3-5V-2, or 3-6V-1 can play defensively?
It is downright offensive disposition, playing mostly offensively with a big pressure.
I never tried to defense, because to me it comes a few players in their own half, but if it really works well with the mentality of defense and likes to learn

I would suggest 3n-2w-2n-2w-1(butterfly).....i've won many matches using this formation against ND....as u are playing against a higher quality opponent go with....hard defending,passing down both flanks,short passes,no counter attacks.....hard pressing,normal tackling,man to man and no offside traps.....btw use down ward arrows on 3 DC's and up ward arrows on aml/amr and st...

both can work with those orders
If oppo has DMC, set 2 ST or 3 MC (more conservative) and from the flanks.
if oppo doesn't have DMC, go with AML-C-R and mix
