How to beat 5-3n-2
Attachment 70827
He uses 5-0-3n-0-2
I won my first leg at home 3:2, but I conceeded both goals from counter (livegame).
I played 4-5-1V, defensive-dbf-mixed-off, low-hard-zonal-off
I was 3:1, conceeded the goal at 89' - but I made no changes after my 3:1.
The problem is: he only needed 4 chances, my team needed 11... He also lost his previous 1st leg against a slightly better 4-5-1V 1:0 (he was away). He won his second leg at 3:1 - BUT he was in both games much weaker on statistics. He only needed 5 chances to score 3 times, his opponent had 11, scored only once. I think, he also scored from counter.
If he scores one time at home, it will be really hard for me. How do I avoid, to run into his counter? How to play the second leg?
I think, I have two options:
1.) play like home - defensive didn't protect my team from his counter and hope for the best? But, what to do, if my team conceeds first goal, but has again more chances?
2.) I use 4-0-2n-3w-1 - offensive-dbf-mixed-off, high-hard-zonal-off
Any experience? Any ideas?

3n 5 2 V
you don't need wingers in the defense

I agree - but check for good and bad if his DL -DR are scoring (maybe he uses red arrows to them).
3DC +2DMC +2MC + AML- AMR +ST
for more attacking (only if you 're desperate) > 3DC +1DMC+ 2MC +AML/C/R +ST (mix now).
the problem with the higher q/lv teams is that even they have worst stats (b.p. , shots) they have a "hidden" better efficiency and your players tend to get cards.
So better avoid hard tackling, only hard defense, bonus defense and don't forget the cheap/low win bonus.

Even if one of his ST has 172%?
And his DL/DR don't score. At cup, they didn't shot a single goal.

Thanks Nik, worked perfect.
My team played:
3DC-2DMC-2MC-2AML/R-1, defensive-dbf-long-off, low-normal-zonal-off
We won 4:0. Opponent had only 2 shots on the target, so his counter didn't work. At halftime, he hadn't a single shot on target, we were leading 2:0. I saw him crying a river. :p
2 more rounds... and we'll play the semifinals vs a FA-member. :o
