Last season I lost the final against some dude :(
This season he was in my groupfase. I won 1 and I lost 1.
And ofcourse I meet him again in this seasons final.
I dont wanna lose again :)
What should u do against his:
Dl-dc-dc-dr
Dmc
Ml-mc-mc-mr
St
Dont know nothing about his tactics and/or arrows
4222,451v or 352 flat whichever you comfortable.
Any more suggestions?
System is important, but arrows and tactics even more
When my oppo plays with no AM wingers and uses MR/ML I prefer using DMR/DML. This gains players in midfield and in my flanks.
So for me it would be 3DC-2DMw-2MC-AML-AMR-ST.
Normal-short-both flanks.
High pressure-Normal tackle-zonal.
Thats the way I go against 4-4-2 flat till now with much success.
If your passes percentage is too high, you can go to mixed passes instead of short
If he changes his style and stop uses DMC then definetely definetely you go with mixed.

Ok, 4-1-4-1 is one of the toughest formations specially if oppo has good q players.
4-5-1V could work.
I would start with that - defense, counter. mix pass, zonal,
red arrow to my AMR becauce Gerard isn't so dangerous , blue arrow to my AML so to watch Griezman.
Blue arrows too in your defenders.
Oppo manager can swicth to 4-5-1V.
Honda,as AML, with Gerard as MC and Suarez as ST.
Then put a blue arrow to your AMR too.
You must watch his formation too.
I would start with defense bonus as the most important is not to concede a goal.
If concede one, still stay in defense/counters as if you 'll pass it attack, you can concede another one from his counter attacks.
Only after a second goal change mentality.
You can switch to attack, high pressing, no counter, maybe yes to offside trap, maybe yes to man to man and hard tackling.
For 4-5-1 V, if you have a good DC, you can go with 3Dw-2DMC-2MC-AML-AMR-ST
Also watch some comments of asc.manager about passing.
You must have at least 83-84%.
If oppo has over 86%, switch something (maybe use hard tackling or high pressing).
Shots are important, not ball possession. Observe them.
If you have an earlier league match (at home), change the time and set it later after your CH.L. final.
If you can't , bench your key players and let them be ready for the final.
if you 're between two players, check who's performing better in CH.L. games so far.
Give a lv3-lv4 (expensive) win bonus.

Besides tactics,
Big thing here is to have 40% training bonuses, max win bonus (Don't know how important it is overall, but I don't take chances in Finals), 99% condition and superb morale if possible. I can't speak for your opponent, but whenever i'm in the CL final, I take everything to the max and assume my opponent is doing the same.
I would have go with the same 4-1-4-1 ,first I will go through middle then mix Focus

I agree with Niko but I think you can also play with DL-DC-DR-DMC-3MC (N)- AML-AMR-ST
I have tried this formation many times against 4-1-4-1 and always manage to win.
AML-AMR with fwd arrows, Down both flank, mixed passing

U can use either:
3N-5-2V attacking/Down both flanks/short passing/no counter/offside on/ red arrows on AMR/AML and DMC
or 3N-4-1-2 attacking/Down both flanks/short passing/no counter/offside on/ red arrows on MR/ML and AMC
For me..it's very good to counter 4-1-4-1

I don't have that much time to farm 40 green packs per day, I have a 21 man squad and I do heavy rotation, but if I train them at 40% boost/day, I need a truckload of green packs. The rest isn't an issue(max win bonus or blue boosters, I managed to save a lot of those).Quote:
