3W-1DMC-3N-2(AML/AMR)-1 Counter Formation

Hi All,

I have a game coming up against the top manager in my league. He's been smoking his opponents by at least 4 goals with this formation.

He is about 120% quality vs my 113% quality. I am thinking of going with my traditional 4-5-1 V formation. Defensive, Both Flanks, Mixed passing, counterattacks on, high pressing style, hard tackling, zonal marking and offside trap off.

But I'm also thinking of 3w-4-3. 4 mids to try and control the midfield and 3 defence (DL-DC-DR) to take care of his ST and 2 attacking mids.

Wanted to get feedback and thoughts on this.

No, I think you need a DMC.
As a matter of fact, I would try with 2 DMC, a 3Dw-2DMC-2MC-AML-AMR-ST
Defensive, Both Flanks, Mixed passing, counterattacks on, low pressing style, normal tackling, zonal marking and offside trap off.
Later maybe hard tackling and man to man.

how will you know if man to man is needed?? to many chances for them??
