I am facing the 4-1-4-1 formation in the Champs league and noted that the counter is 3W-4-3 so I tried this in the away leg and it finished 0-0 I had plenty possession and plenty of chances so should I stick with this in the 2nd leg or does anybody have any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.
If you had plenty possession and plenty of chances it menas that the module is the right one.
Then it's up to your players to score.
I would keep the same module
I suggest 4-3(mc)-2(aml,amr)-1 winger attack,mix/long ball passing.

These are attachments from my 1st leg game, tell me what you think, July advises 3W-4-3 so that is what I did.
The match is today, and he seems to have slightly changed his formation, see attachment, any ideas?
