Any good ideas againts 4141 ?

Any good formation for counter 4141 , pls share your opinion ..
I will try to play 3w52flat to counter it

I read counter formation. It says 4-2-2-2 hexagon. Don't know. Maybe someone should give other suggestion. :D

3Dw-2DMC-2MC-AML-AMR-ST normal or defense/counter

I played today against 4-1-4-1, and I used 3W-1-2-2-2 hex. His team was 10-12% weaker and I wasn't afraid of his attackers, so 3W-1- in def was enough. I won 4-1.
DMC in this formation helps with enemy counter-attacks.
Normal or Attack mentality, Flanks, Mixed passing style, c-atks off.
Low pressing style (opponent's % passes completed was terrible anyway), normal tackling, man-to-man marking style, offside trap off.

I play with 3w52 flat today , 1-0 half time , then he swap to 4411 then I change my formation to 3w142 final score 5-0 . Thx every one

May I ask what orders you used with 3W52 flat? Im playing against 4-1-4-1 first time ever, and have nothing to go with :D

3w without DMC might not be enough, his counter-attacks will be very dangerous. If you want to use only 3 defenders, you are going to need 3w-2(dmc)- or at least 3w-1-.

just beat it with butterfly defensive flanks mixed

Okey thanks, I think Im going to use the formation Niko posted, 3W-2dmc-2mc-amr aml-1 with defensive mentality mixed passes thru flanks and counter on low press and zonal. My opponent is about the same quality as my team, maybe 4% lower. The match is tomorrow , I will post the results after the game

Also, 4-5-1 V could work. Whenever I played with 4-1-4-1 with defensive tactics, I conceded the match to the opponent who played with 4-5-1 V.

Thank you! After considering a while I have decided to try 451v in the first leg, if it doesnt work I will change to 3W-2dmc-2mc-amr aml-1 . My team has performed really well with 451v so far.

So yesterday I used 4-5-1v in my match against 4-1-4-1 and I won 4-0. My orders were defensive, mixed down flanks, counter on, low press normal tackle and offside off. Up arrows on DR and DL. Opponent wasnt attending the match tho. Today Im playing against the same formation again but this time a stronger quality team, lets see how it goes.

4-5-1 V and 4-1-4-1 are very similar formations.
So, the advantage we 're searching for, is the duel between oppo lonely ST and our DC.
If we have a good (in quality and performing) DC vs oppo ST, we can use 2 DMC to have more crowd in front of him (oppo ST) to help in the battles of the center too.
More risky, 3Dw-1DMC-3MC-AML-AMR-ST
