Strikers are not scoring goals

Hello guys, how is it going! My strikers don't score above 6-10 goals every season. So I am thinking if my formation is the caused. I play 4-1-4-1, defensive against strong opponent and offensive against weak opponent. Is there something am doing wrong?

I've noticed that strikers have been under performing this season. I get all my production from my AML/AMR. I have been rotating two strikers with 110% quality and they only seem to score against much weaker opposition. With a 4-1-4-1 you may be relying on your flat 4 midfield to feed the ball to your lone striker. May be asking too much of him, given that strikers seem to be a wee bit nerfed.
