How to beat 3-1-3-2-1

I have a cup game against this formation and need help. I'm thinking to use 4-5-1V defensive with long balls and counter

I think you should use 3 central defenders and 2 dmc to block his amc. 2 mc,aml amr and a striker.

Would like to but don't have 2 DMCs

I can see that in previous round in cup he lost 2-3 against 4-5-1V

4-5-1V can work but I would avoid long passing
