Some Tactics questions

Hi,

I have some tactics questions here:

1. When to use 3DC wide and 3DC Narrow?

2. when to use players in DMC position in general?

3. why 451 is the most used formation from your point of view?


I new that my questions is very generic but please your reply is much appreciated.

1) 3DC when your oppo has not offensive wings (that includes M) and at least 2 S. 3W otherwise but no more than 1 S. If S >1 go for 4D.
2) DMC if he's got AM, even wingers
3) Not sure it's the most widely used but it's one formation with no obvious weakness. Like 4-4-2 for instance. But to me, 4-5-1V is vastly superior.

Hi there. Well the same here. 3DC when there are no wings. The DMC when the opponent goes with an AMC but I'm always play with at least one DMC (much times I play with 2 cause they are really good) because of the long pass of the opponent, the DMC is the key to stop the long pass of the teams who play defensive and counter. Regarding the 4 5 1 V I used it from time to time, but I feel my players perform better with other formations

about the last, the majority of real football clubs playing with that formation.

Honestly i dont see a diference between 3wd or 3dc. I have tested 3wd and dmc and 3d and dmc vs 2st + amc and 3st, i see no difference
