I am only a Level 4 so i may not be most knowledgable about this but....Quote:

The most common formation I've seen from token buyers is 3N-4-1-2.
My personal favourite is 4-2-3-1 because i can easily alter it to 4-1-2-2-1 depending on opponents formation. (if he plays with attacking mid) Alot like Mourinho's time at Inter.
At the end of the day, an average team with mostly 4*'s playing a 4-1-2-1-2 might be better than a good team playing with mostly 5*'s playing a 4-4-2.
Some tactics counter other tactics. Think of it like Pokemon Fire, Electric, Grass, Rock, Psychic ;)
So it depends on the rating of your team, a tactic to counter your opponents and morale and fitness high.
