My tactic is a bit Jose mourinhoish(in terms of defending like there's nothing to attack) but I feel as he has THREE players in midfield if u play the 4-5-1v style u should be able to control possession during the match.u can even play 4-4-2 to have 4 players vs his 3 players in midfield.u can play 4-5-1flat formation to have 5 players vs his 3 players if you like counter attacking play.its your choice

Basically remember that the main battle in this game against this formation is that U HAVE TO WIN IN MIDFIELD.u don't control possession and youre screwed
Orders are according to ur playing style and managerial experience

I would say go down the flanks as often as possible to finish off his defenders as they are completely exposed due to lack of wingers in team.if u have 2 or 1 more player than him in midfield try going for through the middle short or long is ur choice.

If u really wanna take a risk to win big try using 3-4-2-1.the main advantages here are that
1)u have 2 AMCs vs his 1 DMC
2)u have 5 midfielders vs his 4 midfielders(not taking into consideration where the midfielders are located)

Should i play 4-4-2 and the wingers arrow up or play 4-5-1 players out of position

4-5-1 gives more assurance in midfield whereas 4-4-2 is more attack minded whereas 4-5-1 is defense minded
