Counter formation for 4-2-1-2-1

What's the best formation to counter 4-2-1-2-1, none are wide..

if your team is slightly better go with 4-3N-2W-1, if his is better go with 4-5-1V, in both cases you have to attack down the flanks

Tough to counter it as there are 4 defenders and 2 DMC.But you can take some risk down the flanks.High press and focus mentality hard defending.

Their team is slightly better by 2 points. It seems like they would be attacking straight down the middle. Do I point my AML & AMR forward? If I go with 4-5V-1? I saw some posts that people said to point the DL and DR backwards for more defending.

And I wrote it wrong, his front 2 are AMC's not AML and AMR. They also have ST label in their skills.

Take mr/ml for counter balancing opponent aml/amr.Take on DMC backwards and try not to use counter attacks.

I just completed a game against 42dmc 1MC 2(AMC)1

My formation was 31411 (DC DC DC - DMC - ML MC MC MR AMC ST)

and won 3-2.

This formation is hard to beat because of 6 in his own half and 1 MC who pushes back as DMC, making it hard to pierce through.

Orders:
Mentalilty - Attacking
Passing - Through the middle
Pressing - High
Tackling - Hard
Marking - MOM
Passing - Long
