Need help - when should I use offside trap?

Hi I've played this game for a few days and today I decided to try using offside trap. I've read some beginner's guide but I'm still not sure when I should use offside trap. I've read some advices here and most do not suggest people using offside trap. I guess it works best with 3 fast DC, attacking mentality in my team. Should I also consider the number of ST/AMC of opponent? My possession? Anything else to note? Thanks!

offside trap is recommended to be used with "all 4 at once" situation as below
- Attacking mode with no counter attack forced (as this is pointless to counter when ya play offside and vice versa)
- Whole pitch pressure
- ya have 4 defenders with wide DFs (DR/L) going forward (red arrows)
- if opponent doesnt have AMR/L/C

Offside when you play 3 defenders only, it will also work

Dont use offside trap if his ST's are faster than your defenders!!
