4-4-1-1 counter and counter attk is broken

So, my latest game today was in association me 102% and he is 99%
I play with 4-4-2 narrow diamond last couple days and it's OKAY in this game i went with normal ment. And mixed passes through the middle with counter ON and hard tackles, game started, 30 min gone and my assistant says that opponent knows how to stop our counter and we should change that so I turn it off with short passed and at min 40 I scored a goal from a counter attk xD !!!!!!? Still not changing the tactics at min 72 I scored another counter attk goal with the same guy xD. WTH is going on here xD
I have an important match against my follower in the league with 94% rate and 1 point away from me. He plays 4-4-1-1
Do u think my 104% narrow diamond counter attack Real Madrid ich tactic can handle him ? XD
Or should I change to 3-5-2v style and play high press with counter ?!

Through the middle dc both down, amc up, normal mentality, full pitch, offside on ,mixed passes

Lol ok. I'll post the results here after the match. Thanx for replying

Used my narrow diamond with normal ment and mixed passes through the mid and high press with hard tackles and counter, offside both on. My team was loosing thr ball too many times so at min 40 I changed to
Defensive, counter off, low press, hard tackle, offside off, short passes
And his player got red card then I scored the free kick. In second half I didn't change anything and scored 2 goals from counter attacks at min 83' and 86'.
