There's some really good advice on "Tactics and Tutorials"

i always use 4-5-1 V-motivated against 4-4-2 and never lost or draw

I just won champions league game v 4-4-2 using 3n-4-1-2 with devastating results. Possession bonus, low, normal (and hard attack to do the damage), mixed and short/mixed passing
