So if I had a good MC and used it as AMC, eventhough he's a "MC"-only player, how bad does he play? does it make much of a difference? i could really use it for some players... :)

It shouldn't effect his preformance too much but i have heard that you get a 5% possession deduction if you play a player out of position but im not 100% sure so...

if you play a player not on hes origin position you will cause a decrease in his ratings and there for a decrease in his gameplay.
in other words he will slowly suck at games and miss shots and lose possession more and more
but playing dc as dmc is not bad... depends on luck.
For me is bad....tried one time and he got injured after few second.
Maybe i has been unlucky.....
if every player could play every position game would be boring and stupid!
I played an MC at AMC almost an entire season .. he led the league in assists and was second in goals scored, top 5 in rating. The only negative I noticed was a pretty bad morale hit - had to use blue packs on him quite frequently. For 1 or 2 games where i had to press him into service at ST his morale was horrid and he tired very quickly. YMMV.
