A lot of problem with 4-4-2

Hi!

I have a lot of problems with opponents playing standard 4-4-2. My tactic base on AML, AMC and AMR so it may be the case. My last 2 matches in League (lvl 2 manager) was 1:0 for me (me 28.3 vs 15.1 opponent) on my stadium with bonuses without opponent manager watching and today I lost very important match 2:0 this time as away 28,3 against 22.6. I also had 71% ball possession, because my opponent wasn't active durring match. I played 4:1:3:2, than switched to 4:2:3:1, but it didn't work aswell. I play offensive, both sides, short passes with counter, zone defending, normal and without offsides.

Here is my actual squad, if someone experienced in game can help me build best formation against opponents playing 4:4:2 that will be great :) Should I buy someone else like one more MC or DC?

4-2-3AM-1 or 4-4-2 ND are good vs 4-4-2

So with my team only possibility is 4-2-3-1, so how should I set tactic with that formation against 4-4-2? I mean team orders ofc :)

It depends from oppo quality and what kind of game.
vs a not active manager, I would play
attack/mix/mix/of / high pressing/normal/zone

Ok, so I played like u said against 30.9% with me 96.0%, I won 6:0 away, but I lost in corners 9:5 and won in shots only 20:11 with 76% Ball Possession. I think, that against not active, more than 3 times worse team, I shouldn't have less corners and should have bigger advantage in shots statistic. I am not sure if it will be enough for very important match in league against better opponent.

Also if you can say something how to win against that kind of formation, that will be great :)

It will be good if you try 4-3-3 and also concentrate more on hard attacking.

You will get more corner kicks when you attack through the wing(s), and few corners when you focus through the middle.

I think the best way to beat 4-4-2 is 3dc/1dmc imagine the rest.
Offside trap should be of, the game will punish you (with at least a yellow card) if you play offside trap against two or more strikers, against a stronger team be sure of them scoring at least one goal, or a red card if not both.
And focus on the middle, why? 4-4-2 does not have players there, so I put one AMC in the middle and another ST there too. They will always be free to get balls, and to shoot. ;)
