Wm formation

Ok so I've been trying to organise the tactics for my wm formation based on Herbert Chapman's 1930s arsenal teams. I found initially that it would like up in this manner.

LB
CB
RB
DM
DM
AML
AMC
AMC
AMR
ST
seems to work well as a counter attack tactic so this is where I need advice please. At the mo I go defensive, short passing, mixed focus and counter attack. Also high pressing, hard tackling man to man marking and no offside trap. My thinking is that yes it will tire my players but with condition bonus from training I can hopefully overcome this. I want to shut out attacks and hit with counters and it has worked to an extent with me matching if not playing better then the other side but still I'm struggling to win which may be down to win bonus or maybe something I'm missing? Any help will be appreciated

You struggle to win because t11 is different from real life football, just forget everything you know about football when you play this game.
