a perfect countertactic to 3-1-5-1

i played a guy with 19 stars avg value with me 29 stars avg value team.
He used a 5-3w-1-1 tactic.
I countered this with a 3-1-5-1.

I wanted to win the midfield battle easily. Turns out his formation has become the perfect c ounter to mine because he outshot me 15 to 10. I managed only 2 shots on goal and he managed 7.
He won the game with 0-2.


I can see no reason why his tactics are a perfect counter to mine, but somehow Nordeus feels it is so he crushed me despite having much much weaker players.
