    attacking midfielders

Any defensive tips against formations with a 3-1 (AMR/C/L) or a 2-1 (AMC-AMC-ST) attack. I come across these formations more and more and they usually cause problems for my defense.

I've tried maple leaf to no succes, buterfly worked better, but very mixed results. The wide diamond from Marco is sth I haven't thought of yet. Probably because I'll have to bench my best player, but I might have a try out nevertheless.

Tell us the results if you've tried it out please. I'm wondering if it works with other teams aswell... ;-)
However, good luck on experimenting with your set-up. Some day you'll find a formation that fits perfectly to your team and then you'll hardly change it anymore...
