3 wide? In real life that's disastrous. Does he have good results with that? Haven't played against it (or I can't remember it). I would try deep defense (defensive mentality + own half) with 4 defenders and a DMC + counter attack.
4-5-1 V seems good.
Consider Eiffel tower as well.
Yeah, actually he has good results, 5 wins in a row. Im going to use 4-5-1V thanks so far. I don't have an AMC, so eiffel is not an option.
