The fact that it looks like a question mark describes it all over.
i know this guy and i beat him easily with normal 4-4-2
PS. please show me the result after using this so I can suggest this to other people next time
i will go to mirror his attacking formation
RB↓....CB...CB...CB (or LB)......
.................DMC↓.......
.........CM...CM...........
RW↓......................↓LW
...........↓ST...............
and attack his weaker flanks
defend your centre and right, unload on his left(left back and left midfielder with forward arrow), use 1 central striker, normal mentality and counter. u'll most likely win by a huge margin.
Illegal formation!
It's the Number 2 formation...
I'd counter it with the Number 1 formation...
-----ST--ST--------
--------AMC--------
---------MC--------
--------DMC--------
DL--DC--DC--DC--DR
It's like rugby :D with reversed forwards :P
How did the match go? I my self play 4-5-1V for the first time with normal mentality, down both flanks, own half pressure, normal tackling, short passing. No counter and offside trap. Is that a good setup? Can this formation be played with attacking mentality?
I won 1-0. Not a great result but it's a positive result. I had most of the possession but I weren't gonna go gung ho so I'm happy with the result.
Don't use the offside trap with 4 defenders. Yes, that's a good set up and yes it can be played attackive, if your quality is higher but normal works just aswell as it's a balanced tactic. Use blue arrow on your DMC if your opponent has AMC. Red if not, he supports the mids and my DMC gets a few goals this way.
I won 1-0. His players didn't effect me really, only guy who gave me a bit of hassle was his striker. His CM went right sided slightly as my lb was denying him everything.

I'll counter away and try to snatch the away goal :)
