Is 6* ML better or 7.5* AML to play in ML position?

Hi all,
I have an important match tomorrow at 16:36 UK time.
My MVP is a 7.5* AML. However to counter the opponents formation I will need to use an ML who is 6*.
So my question is which is better?
The 7.5* AML playing off role, or tue 6* ML playing in his role?
In other words what is the percentage loss when you play with a player who is not in his role (orange warning sign, not red)?

Also if you have any tips to win the match they are most welcome:
It’s the cup semifinal and the opponent is stronger by 10%, playing 4W-2-1-3W
His star player is his AMC, who I am marking with my superior DMC man to man. I hope this will slow his team down considerably.

Other than that do you know what is % decrease in skills for players playing outside of their role? Also for future reference

No one knows... I assume the best way is to sum important skills for that position and divide it with number of important skills... I played with 3-5 players out of position (yellow triangle) and managed to win several games in row...

I won first game (away game) 4-3.
Other manager was not there at the beginning if the match and I managed to score 4-0.
When he joined he caught up to 4-3.
I was slow to make adjustments and go hard defensive to protect the 4-0 advantage. I may have gotten greedy. 😉
