Today, I lost to somebody with 3-1 (I was away at least...) and now I am in a bad situation...
This is his formation!

I tried with 3N-1-4-2 but it didn't work as well as expected...I had possession and the same shots as he did, but with not the best results... Please write down your suggestion on formation and orders. Thank you!
I would suggest using this:

Mentality: Attacking
Focus Passing: Mixed
Passing Style:Mixed
Tackling ( normal, unless your players are in good mental condition and the enemy has no free kick specialist )
Pressing Style: Own Half
Passing Style: Mixed
Marking Style: Zonal
No counter attacks
Yes offside traps, but only if your defenders and faster and higher quality than his attackers.
The idea of this formation is that you have 3 DC that are enough to cover his 2 ST
Next you have a DMC that will cover his AMC
You have stronger midfield than him
You are not using AMC, so his DMC are not 100% efficient
3x ST should be able to crush his defence which only consist of 1 DC and DL+ DR

use this but don't use offside trap. Never use offside trap against an AM player.Quote:

I've always preferred a stronger midfield.
I would suggest to concentrate in the middle of the field
they have only 1 CD so over him with, 2 ST + 1AM . Play 4 defenders with RA red arrow 1 DM for his AM and 2 MC the red arrow for the Right one and blue for the left one.

Focus Passing: right
Passing Style:Mixed
Pressing Style: all over

you may take a RMD and RMA insteed of MC and RB but you may be eleminate by away goals
if the opposite play in flanks all thing with only 3 defender make you upset
