Play Normal/Attacking on easy opponents. Defensive against harder opponents.
Normal tackling, mix passing, zonal, down the flanks force counter attack

i didnt personally use it but i dont see a reason not to be effective

all formations are effective as long as they let the team to perform at 100%. Remove the red arrows on 1 at least MC and DMC.

In 4-1-4-1 when you put red arrows on ML & MR it is like 4-5-1V.

I playing this formation for 3 seasons, very good and effective formation.
Just set red arrow on ML & MR I playing normal mentality, no counter attack and offside trap, zonal, mix passing(or short pass)
