I use mostly 4-5-1V because I have had good success with it (well, not recently) and because it is listed as a counter to half the formations in the table....

I prefer 4-5-1 V-Style
Its a natural counter to 4-4-2 and a few other often used formations
Also its quickly changed to a more attacking 4-2-2-2 Hexagon with a single sub.
