Yeah, I also wish they would give a bit more freedom with roles. I would like to have DR + DL but without DC for example... It is common in real life football that players can play on both wings.

Sounds like you are soft manipulating, it is a good strategy I think as well, to avoid tankers and such and approach the game in a more relaxed way, which might also feel more fair and a level...
