Sometimes you're lucky and still pay only 5 Tokens even though there were 7 people bidding. I always check if there is a Token Buyer bidding on the player, if there is, I won't bid.

It depends on your squad and formations/tactics you tend to use. Sometimes I play 2 different formations and therefore use 2 different lineups.
