I Never buy tokens. The game is set up so it's impossible to 'build' a team long term, you have to replace players every season as they can never train fast enough to catch up with the star loss...

In 'tactics' go to the 'score more than the opponents' tab and click it. Even that doesn't work every time in this d@mn game though!!

And the higher the level of a player the slower he trains. A 2* player will train far faster than a 7* player.
