No mistake at all. Three new, high value, fast training 18 year olds (one with a SA), all close to 6*. 8 tokens for the players and 25 for the cash = 33 tokens total I keep a full squad of 22 good...

I spent pretty big in season 1/2 and the cup was tough, but stopped spending in season 3 and won the cup last year (but failed to win league for the first time)

When you've token farmed like a fiend, you need to give it a break for a while (maybe a month) so new offers can come up. You still won't be able to get as many tokens as you did at the start though...

No panic buying needed - buy a few top rated players (either 5* or scout) on day one to play in your cup games and the league will look after itself, as others have said
