Use 3-2-3-1-1 3 DC - DML -DMR - 3 MC - AMC -ST . Attack the middle
with 2mc ( L ,R ) up , AMC up , ST up ( DML DMR up , if strong ) .

I don't stick with any particular formation, my team setup to counter any formation on field (without sub) but 4-1-4-1, 4-5-1v and 3-1-4-2 I like most, without dmc I feel naked :p

Formation like: 4-1-1-3-1, 4-0-1-4-1, 4-0-2-3-1, 4-0-1-3-2, 4-1-1-2w-2 etc
Are counter by 4-4-2 or 4-1-4-1
I don't like 4-4-2 much but I love my 4-1-4-1

is not a mad formation, with correct arrows will work just fine, played during a season and I won 8 matches until vs 442 , and then another 5 matches, and guess what.... until vs 442 , but this time...

yep, i played that formation and I was destroyed by 442 with 4-0 and I was 20% better. :) and it wasn't a troll match

Play short or mix pass in middle, with red arrows to Dml-Dmr 2 Mc & AMC.

In last 3 seasons I had wins with 3w 2dmc 1mc aml amr st st or 4 1dmc 1mc aml amr st st , def/counter, for away match , normal/no counter for home match.

But carefull try not to play hard def cuz as the name says your team will focuse 100% on defense. Imo you should play just defensive cuz ur team will play 75% defence and 25% attack. Cheers
